About Suan Feng Shui

Suan Feng Shui (算风水, "calculate feng shui") is an education project. We are not consultants. We do not sell crystals, amulets, or master appointments.

We write evidence-informed guides to feng shui for people who want to understand the tradition without the mysticism. Every factual claim on this site links to its source: classical texts, academic research, or government data.

When something is tradition without evidence, we say so. When the science supports it, we show you. That is what "feng shui that makes sense" means.

Who makes this?

Suan Feng Shui is a project by Brewtonic Inc Pte Ltd, a Singapore digital agency. The site is built and maintained by Freddie Ang.

Our editorial approach

We follow three rules:

1. Cite everything. "Studies show" is banned. Which study? We link it.
2. Be honest about limitations. The qi concept is poorly researched. We do not pretend everything is proven.
3. Distinguish tradition from evidence. Classical texts say one thing. Modern research says another. Both are valuable. We present both and let you decide.
